Guided by the tenets of evidence-based medicine, we continue to evaluate the safety and efficacy of UVLrx technology for improvements in Quality of Life and treatment of various conditions. With an already strong in vitro foundation for the wavelengths utilized in UVLrx technology and non-significant risk classification, all studies involve the treatment of human subjects. We begin with smaller non-randomized, non-controlled pilot investigations to ascertain basic information regarding the clinical progression following treatment. This information helps optimize treatment protocols and design a more thorough placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, multicenter study. In addition to a well-designed study, we actively seek out respected members of a specific medical discipline or highly regarded authorities of a specific disease/condition. These individuals help craft a strong clinical study and provide invaluable insight concerning the meaningfulness of the observed clinical results.
